Report 2024

Act4nature international publishes the 2024 report of the implementation of commitments by 60 companies, two years after the previous report. This work is based on an analysis of the level of completion of the actions planned by the companies, the themes addressed, and the types of verification undertaken. Through its transparency, the assessment aims to enhance companies’ expertise on biodiversity, raise the ambition level of planned actions, and support their integration into corporate strategies. It enables companies to engage in a process of continuous improvement and broader mobilisation towards an economy that incorporates biodiversity considerations.

As part of this assessment campaign, 62 companies were eligible, meaning they had at least one individual commitment reaching its deadline by the end of 2024. Of these, 60 submitted their assessments, representing a participation rate of 97% – a marked increase compared to previous editions (92% in 2022 and 88% in 2020). These companies were asked to report on the progress of their individual commitments. The data collected were compiled and analysed to produce the summary presented in this document.
